      OUR BUSINESS:

      Becket & Lee has specialized in servicing bankrupt accounts since 1984, with an emphasis on consumer debt. Unlike other law firms and collection agencies, all of our resources, processes and staff are focused on maximizing our clients' bankruptcy recoveries. We do not purchase our clients' accounts, thus avoiding any possible conflict of interest. Our goal is to provide service and advice to each of our clients as if we were an in-house bankruptcy department.

 
      FIRM HISTORY:

      In 1984, Senior Partner Milton Becket had his own collection practice when one of his clients asked him what could be done with its growing number of bankruptcies. "At the time, many banks just wrote off bankrupt debt.  No one knew what to do with it, or thought they could recover anything," remembers Becket. Since then, Becket & Lee has grown from a small regional collection firm, operating out of the first floor of Becket's home in Philadelphia, to a 300 person full-service bankruptcy operation, providing national representation to some of the most prestigious lenders and account purchasers in the country.
